Get Well Card

Hello everyone. I trust your weekend was AWESOME? Well, I hope it was anyway. When the weekend comes by for me, I try to spend alot of time with my family (immediate & extended) and also do some house keeping as I tend to neglect things through the week. Anyway...enough of that.
I made this card for a FB friend who ended up in hospital after a car accident. I thought it would put a smile on her face. :)

With this card I used a Heather Valentin image called 'Summertime Girl On Swing'. You can purchase her through http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/. I used American Craft yellow cardstock and Kraft cardstock. The paperline is 'Fine & Sunny' by Kaisercraft. The ribbon and bling is from my stash. Carlene PinkScrapper99 gave me the butterfly as a part of the DT bits and pieces for http://colormecopicclub.blogspot.com.au/. The sentiment is available through me if anybody wishes to purchase it. You will get a brand new red rubber block mounted sentiment stamp for $3- plus postage. Send me a message if you're interested.

Birthday Card (for my mother)

I told you guys that I'll be back with one more before the weekend and here it is. Isn't she just breath-taking. I love it. The digi is 'Cameo 7' by Morgan Fitzsimons. My husband says she looks sunburned....I think she looks fabulous! What do you think? I was scanning through the digis available at http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/ and I saw her and OMG...I had to have her. As soon as I saw her I envisioned something like this for my mother's birthday card. We'll see what mum has to say. Such an AWESOME image to colour. The simplicity of this card, makes the digi the focal point, which is what I always try to achieve with my cards. Embellishments should be complimenting...not overwhelming. Well that's what I believe anyway. The paperline I used here is Vintage Rose by Merci and the Cardstock is Into The Forest by Sam and Lucy. I Am Roses flowers. The trim, lace, feather and pearl floral embellie are all from my stash.

With this card I used American Craft Evergreen and Apricot cardstock. The paper is Tigerlilly by Kaisercraft. A few I Am Roses to give it some dimension amongst the printed flowers. I added some Bella bling and I fussy-cut some butterflies from the paper pad to make them pop off the page. The leaf trim was purchased at my LSS.

Sweet Arsenic Cupcake

Hello there everyone. Today I have yet another card to share with you all. This is one of my favourites. It was a bit of a challenge  to come up with something for this image, however, once I started...it took off. I chose to colour her in the monochromatic tones.

This image is one by Heather Valentin. It's from her Twisted Sugar range. 'Sweet Arsenic Cupcake'....Awesome image to colour. The image can be yours from http://addicted-to-stamps.blogspot.com.au/ The feathers I used were from my stash and a gardenia by I Am Roses. I also used a double backed black satin ribbon. The backing is a thick meshed ribbon mounted simply on black and white cardstock. The vial had glass beads in it and I replaced them with some clear liquid glue to create an arsenic effect. The cork stopper was sealed with Helmar's 450 quick dry adhesive.

Elegance

Hi there everyone, back with another card. Long time no hear hey? Lol. It's only because I was out of action for so long, that I have this urge to create lots of cards. I have so many stamps and yet more wonderful stamps keep being created. Of course, I have to have them all! You'll soon get to know my fav's and the kind of style I seek in images. Anyhoo, I'll get on with telling you about this one.

This image is so gorgeous. It's 'First Prom' by Sherri Baldy Stamps. You can find them at ScrapbookStampSociety.com just click on the link on the side. The cardstock I used was 'Chestnut Weave' by American Craft. Instead of using designer paper, this time I used satin for the backing. I found with the satin, that less was best where the embellishments were concerned. A ribbon from my stash, the stickpin I made myself and a spray from I Am Roses. I covered the spray, (which was originally beige) in Lindy's Stamp Gang's Cactus Gold.

Copics Used:

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E21, R20

Eyes - YG93

Spread 'Em! Birthday Card

Hello there crafters. I am back with another card for you. I know, I know, a bit raunchy. However, we must create for everybody. This card I created for our neighbour who happens to be a homosexual. I think it is a great idea and so does his partner. I hope you like it too. I had alot of fun with this one. The sentiment inside cannot be shown..sorry.

The black cardstock I used here is by Sam & Lucy and the papers are from KaisercraftMiss Nelly and Fine & Sunny paper pads. The image is a Kenny K image called 'Policeman'...fitting, don't you think? The sentiment we (my husband and I) created ourselves on the computer and the mini handcuffs (thumbcuffs) are from an adult superstore near my house lol. ;) I coloured his uniform to match the Australian Police uniform.

I Love Copics

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing fine. I, on the other hand have been bed-ridden for 4 days now. I finally managed to drag myself out of bed to post this card. It has been sitting on my desk since Monday night. Sherri Baldy asked me to join the wonderful Design Team and I hope I don't let anybody down. I am thrilled to be a part of this group and am so excited to be a part of the talented S.S.S. Design Team.

Now, down to business. For this card I have used an image called 'I love Copics' by Heather Valentin from Scrapbookstampsociety.com. The paperline is Sweet Nothings by Kaisercraft and some other one from my stash (sorry I don't know where that's from as it was given to me). The cardstock I have used is 'Blush' by American Craft. The ribbon buckle and ribbon are also from my stash and the bling is by Bella.
